I take no credit for this vision -- it is the vision of all of the popes of recent memory and of the Church Fathers in the first apostolic age. Nevertheless, it is my vision too. The Church’ s mission belongs to all of us -- clergy and laity alike. The future of the Church and, indeed, of the world depends on our ‘yes’ to this divine invitation.
