History

Nativity of our Lord Catholic School has provided the Rhinelander community with over 115 years of Catholic education. We are grateful to the Franciscan and Holy Cross Sisters who established our school and brought outstanding faith based education that continues today. The name of our school has changed several times throughout the years. Perhaps you graduated from St. Mary’s, St. Josephs or Rhinelander Catholic Central. On January 1, 1995 we marked the merge of St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s parishes to become Nativity of Our Lord. The school was re-named to reflect that of the parish. Thousands of students have been poised to become the men and women who are leaders in our communities. We have been preparing children for the future with a solid academic and spiritual foundation. We are attempting to increase our development efforts and are hopeful to reconnect with many of our former students.
